As a Graduate Teaching Assistant for ECON 2005, I have diligently monitored and assisted in classroom activities, collaborating closely with the professor to ensure a cohesive educational experience. My responsibilities extend beyond traditional support; I also conduct classes independently whenever the professor attends conferences. Additionally, I maintain regular office hours at the Economics Tutor Center, where I provide tailored support to students, helping them grasp complex course concepts and prepare for exams. I have organized numerous study sessions aimed at reinforcing fundamental economics principles. This role has substantially enhanced my pedagogical skills and equipped me with vital leadership and communication abilities, which will be instrumental in my future academic and professional pursuits.

FYE SS: Pathway in Economics, Fall 2022

In Fall 2022, I had the privilege of serving as a peer mentor for the Pathway in Economics class at Virginia Tech. As a peer mentor, I worked closely with my professor to grade assignments, prepare presentations, and ensure that all assignment deadlines were met. In addition, I led discussions with students on assignment issues and was responsible for conducting online class meetings on the Zoom platform. Through my role as a peer mentor, I gained valuable leadership and communication skills while also helping to guide and support students in their academic pursuits. This experience has been instrumental in shaping my professional goals and has allowed me to develop skills that will be invaluable in my future academic and professional endeavors.

Marketing Assistant, June 2025 - In Progress

I have gained valuable professional experience as a Marketing Assistant at eMarketing Foundation, where I have been involved in marketing operations, research, and project execution. In this role, I have assisted in promoting and executing marketing campaigns for various platforms and services, including cause marketing initiatives like Giving Forward and events such as Goodpics Charity Headshots. I have contributed to research, planning, and hands-on implementation of digital marketing strategies, which has allowed me to develop my skills in content creation and competitive intelligence. These experiences have provided me with practical insights into nonprofit marketing and have strengthened my organizational, communication, and analytical abilities, all of which will be invaluable in my future academic and professional endeavors.

Co-Founder and Account Manager of the Economics Club, Fall 2022

As a co-founder and Account Manager of the EconClub at Virginia Tech, I took the lead in designing promotional materials, filming and producing videos, inviting distinguished industry professionals to speak with students about career possibilities, and fostering connections between students and faculty for academic and professional guidance. I organized diverse events open to all students—not just econ majors—including interactive activities like Nash Equilibrium board games and economics-themed movie nights. Through these efforts, I aimed to create an inclusive community where economics felt engaging, approachable, and deeply connected to real-world opportunities.

I have gained valuable professional experience through my role as a Chief Operating Officer Assistant at CrossCity Culture Advertising Media Co., Ltd in Shenzhen.
